The Cranford Barber Shop, at 16 North Avenue West, directly across from the train station, has been owned and operated by the Marsiglia family for 70 years. That’s right . . . . SEVENTY YEARS! It’s the place where most Cranford boys probably got their first haircuts. And they wouldn’t have it any other way. They seem to know everyone in town, and everyone knows them. Sometimes men who don’t even need haircuts stop by to sit and chat. Stepping into this old-fashioned shop is like walking into an episode of Andy Griffith. It is the epitome of old fashioned hometown Americana.
The shop was renovated not too long ago, so it has a fresher, cleaner look, while maintaining its same old character. The sports are always playing on the TV, and as always, Social Distancing is supported!
