And while children across the nation join in a collective moan of despair, they are outdone only by the moaning of their parents when they look at the often lengthy lists of things their kids will need to begin in September. It can be frighteningly expensive, and vastly overwhelming.
But on Sunday, August 25th, from 10:00 – 5:00, parents and children can attend The Children’s Expo and Street Fair in downtown Cranford. A variety of vendors will be on hand, offering products that children can use in getting ready to return to school in the Fall. All merchandise will be specifically designed for back-to-school use. So parents can eliminate that trip to the office supply store, where they must arm wrestle other parents for the last remaining blue 3-ring 2” looseleaf binder that their child’s science teacher requires for class. In addition to the vendors, there will be music, games, pony rides and a petting zoo to entertain all who attend. And the best part? The admission and parking are FREE!
Head to downtown Cranford for a day of fun, and get the kids ready for school at the same time. Without fighting over a shopping cart.
