Zumba for fun. Zumba for fitness. Zumba for weight loss. Zumba to get away from the husband and the kids for a while. And now Zumba for a cause.
On Friday, February 1st at 7:00 PM, Zumba instructor Alexis Roe will lead a Zumbathon Dance Party to benefit The Cerebral Palsy League (CPL). The exercise/dance party will take place in the gymnasium of the CPL’s Jardine Academy, located at 61 Myrtle Street, in Cranford, NJ. All monies raised will benefit the programs and services provided by CPL, as well as the Occupational Center of Union County (OCUC) located in nearby Roselle. Both organizations provide a huge number of services, including education, therapy, and training for individuals with disabilities. The Zumbathon will also feature light refreshments, local vendors, raffles, door prizes and even a 50/50.
Tickets for this fun fitness event are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. For tickets, contact Jeff Scheckner at the CPL: (908) 709-1800 ext. 103 (jscheckner@thecplinc.org) or Donna Incannella at the OCUC : (908) 241-7200 ext. 3000 (dincannella@ocucnj.com)
