This Sunday, September 23rd,  the streets of Downtown Westfield will be transformed into an Autumnal marketplace. Complete with over 300 vendors, non-stop entertainment and a vast variety of festival foods, the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored FestiFall, now in its 23rd year, has become a favorite annual event. The event is free and lots of fun for the whole family.

          This fall-themed event will run, rain or shine, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, is expected to draw over 40,000 visitors, and quite literally offers “something for everyone.”  Complete with all-day live music,  kiddie rides, and lots and lots of food vendors (what would a street fair be without street fair fare?), there will also be demonstrations from the Taekwon-Do Center and No Body Denied Gym.  There also promises to be a “surprise show” at 2:45 PM near the stage , so why not quench your curiosity if you’re in the area and check it out?

          Fair-goers won’t be limited (LIMITED?!) to the 300 vendors, because local merchants will also be open for business. You can stop in the Savory Spice Shop to sample some treats from their popcorn bar,  or one of their hot sauces – including the Ghost Chile hot sauce, sure to keep you warm this autumn. Or pop into any one of the many, many fine stores to do a little shopping.  Downtown Westfield is a great place to shop and enjoy ANY day of the year, but, with the FestiFall here to enjoy, now is the perfect time!!
