Hey!  You gotta be thinking ahead to take advantage of all the awesome day and night celebrating opportunities!  July 4th is only a few weeks away!

If you live in New Jersey, there are many towns close to Westfield for an awesome 4th of July; it will be filled with excitement, color, spectacle and fun as well as marvelous fireworks honoring this special day in American history. A Westfield 4th of July might involve going to the fireworks display in Clark or Cranford too.

Sweet Sounds of Jazz Festival
This event is hosted by the Westfield Corporation, and this year is the 16th Anniversary. Beginning July 3rd, it runs through August 28th. Lively contemporary or traditional jazz will fill the air every Tuesday on Central Avenue, in front of the train station, at the intersection of East Broad and Prospect Streets, and in front of the Baptist Church on Elm.

Cranford Fireworks
Travel to the next town to enjoy a superb fireworks display. Westfield’s neighbor has an exciting event each year.

Westfield Pool
Cool off for the day at the Westfield Memorial Pool, where the whole family is sure to have a splashin’ time. The hot days of summer are great in the water and a Westfield July 4th is the perfect day for family fun.

Macy’s Fireworks Display
Travel to Jersey City or Hoboken to enjoy the spectacular Macy’s display over the New York Harbor. They are sure to be exciting, completely breathaking and worth the short trip.
