Convenient for commuters, and plenty to do!
Clark could be considered one of the more convenient towns in NJ. Anything you might want to shop for, from organic produce to school supplies to home decor to trendy clothes to sporting goods and everything in between–it’s all at your fingertips with multiple shopping centers in the heart of Clark. And with such close proximity to the Parkway, many commuters find the location ideal.
But Clark is so much more than shopping and commuting. If golf is your forte, the beautiful Hyatt Hills Golf Course awaits. Love eating out? Clark is home to dozens of chain and privately owned restaurants. If fishing is up your alley, cast out into Clark’s several ponds as well as the Rahway River. There are several terrific parks for all ages to enjoy, including Oak Ridge Park, where nationally known musical acts perform regularly at festivals. And folks can clink steins at the beer garden events at Clark’s Deutscher Club, the second largest German club in the U.S.
Clark’s 14,700 residents gather for many town-wide celebrations throughout the year, such as the annual Trunk-or-Treat, Memorial Day Parade, and Independence Day Fireworks. For the younger set, there is a full-day public kindergarten, two elementary schools, a central middle school, public high school, and a private all-girls Catholic high school.
In 2017, NJ Monthly named Clark the 73rd best place to live in the State, and I wouldn’t be surprised if its ranking climbs in the future.
