Went well beyond the normal duties of a realtor

I write on behalf of myself and my wife Amanda Brownell regarding our recent first-home purchase facilitated by our wonderful realtor Sharon Steele. We found Sharon’s details via an internet search and called her on a whim just to get some basic information. From our first correspondence to our closing date, Sharon was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and went above and beyond our expectation in every capacity. As first-home buyers we had some trepidations and anxieties about what we thought would be an intimidating endeavor. Sharon outlined how to buy a home in step-by-step detail with ease, offering us a clear understanding of every aspect of the purchase, no matter how large or small. She answered every question we raised with patience and grace. Sharon went well beyond the normal duties of a realtor. For example, when we arrived at the walk through there were some minor plumbing issues. Without hesitation, Sharon called her plumber and scheduled him to come to our apartment to fix the issues. When I told her to send me the invoice for the work, she insisted on handling the bill herself. She coordinated with Amanda’s mother a professional cleaning of the property before we moved, not only picking out the cleaners, scheduling the cleaning but she also fronted the cash for the service as well, all without blinking. She even welcomed us with Cranford-themed home décor and a delicious bottle of champagne for our first evening in the property. Our purchasing negotiations were complicated at times but Sharon’s diligence and work-ethic ensured we were always looped into whatever was going on with the sellers and their team. Whenever we called or texted to check in, Sharon instantly responded with whatever information she had available to her at that moment. If she didn’t have what we needed she instantly got to work on whatever it is we needed to know. We are so grateful and lucky to have connected with Sharon. We will absolutely recommend her to any of our friends looking for real estate in this area and will intend to use her if we plan on purchasing another home in the future.
