Mr. Hal Maxwell and Mr. George Kraus, It is with the upmost sincerity  that I have the opportunity to write to you in regards to Sharon Steele’s absolutely exemplary service. If there was ever an irreplaceable asset, undeniably it would be Sharon. This being our second home purchase, my wife and I were not new to the experience of buying a home. Especially after our first purchase was an excessively 9 months of delays and setbacks during our short-sale purchase. With that situation leaving an everlasting bad taste in our mouths, the hesitation and nervousness to even sell our home, and ultimately purchase again was one that we surely were not looking forward to. After having multiple offers fall through the year prior under the representation of another company, and dealing with the worst experience we could have possibly scripted for a real estate horror movie, we felt it was not meant to be. However we eventually gathered our spirits and searched for a new great agent to possibly sell our home. Ultimately this led us to our realtor with Coldwell Banker in Monmouth County. However, that’s only half the story, and the insignificant part at that. Once our sale looked solid the next endeavor was to find a realtor that would assist us with the purchasing process. As we were migrating back north, at first to our surprise it was suggested to use someone new since our listing agent was a specialist of our prior region, and not necessarily where we were headed. Long story made short, the inquiry was made concerning where were we looking, and once we focused on the Scotch Plains, Westfield, Clark region, a comment was made that will forever been embedded in my memory. “Ken, I will get you the best, you two deserve it!” Within a few hours, I had a call from Sharon and immediately I was overcome by an overwhelming feeling of compassion and consideration. After some further conversations we located some potential picks for the next house we would eventually call a home. It was during this phase of the process that an everlasting impression was truly made. Even before I go into details, rest assured, it was obvious we definitely got the best. Now I have heard some nightmares about realtors being very pushy and persuasive, even trying to push a sale on a client. I can say with the highest confidence and appreciation that Sharon did not even once, in the slightest, sway us in any direction other than the one that we wanted to go. If a home didn’t fall into the boundaries of our budget, or the physical requirements that we identified, it wouldn’t even be mentioned let alone looked at. Each step of the way, our needs were always first and put into consideration. My wife and I were simply amazed that a realtor actually wanted what was truly best for us, and this attribute only continued to shine as we embarked on this journey. I don’t even know where to start reviewing Sharon’s qualities and characteristics that blew me away over and over again. Still expecting the car salesman pitch that I have dealt with before, just fishing for a sale; I was swept off my feet by Sharon’s abundance of knowledge about the towns we were focused on, her genuine and honest opinions on certain residences and their areas, impressive note taking during every showing diligently recording our specific likes and dislikes, and her absolute dedication to ensure that we stuck to the path and weren’t sidetracked away from our ultimate goal. Even in moments of discouragement, Sharon always knew the right thing to say, and how to say it. Specifically because the time and effort she allocated to learn about us beyond being just a client; taking the time to understand and appreciate both our personalities and our background. This came into play most evidently during negotiations as we aligned with her no-nonsense approach and treated the offer submission like a serious business transaction. Her advice in these matters was priceless, and her skills and experience were truly showcased once we were serious in making our offer and the cards were officially on the table. Sharon truly worked her tail off for us to ensure we were satisfied and always acted in our best interests. Our dreams were ultimately realized after a period of time that went by smoother than could be imagined. Even during the midnight hour when panic began to set in, nerves were on edge, and situations were expected to become hectic. As we tirelessly worked to ensure the dual closing of both our sale and purchase, we were assured that all would work out; Sharon always gave us a shoulder to lean on in times of need. Due to the relationship that was built over the prior months, we were absolutely confident in her capabilities and were beyond grateful that we had someone of that caliber putting every feasible ounce of effort into this transaction on our behalf; essentially guaranteeing everything would somehow work out in the end, which ultimately it did. At the end of the day, we could not be more pleased with how effortless the process was due to the devotion of our realtor. We found what we wanted, where we wanted it, and for what we wanted to spend, the trifecta was somehow realized.  I could seriously go on for pages about the incredible talent Sharon has for what she does arguably better than anyone. The attention and concentration our inquiries and desires received is something that is just unexpected. Sharon is simply gifted; the skill set she embodies cannot be taught or trained, it’s really something special. If there was ever a diamond in the rough to be found, Coldwell Banker surely has one in Sharon Steele.
