You may have noticed some adorable young men in uniform walking up and down the streets of Cranford recently, hanging bags on residents’ front doors. These local Cub Scouts are learning about service to their community by helping out local Boy Scout Troop 75 with their annual “Scouting For Food” drive.
The scouts will be will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food on Saturday, October 25th. You can fill those pre-delivered bags and leave them on your front steps or porch. The Cub Scouts have a blast going around on the morning of the 25th and collecting them! Or, if you prefer, you can bring items directly to Cranford Family Care, their ultimate destination, at 61 Myrtle Street. A pick-up station will be set up in the parking lot from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
This is a fabulous way to help out local scouts, Cranford Family Care, and, ultimately, Cranford neighbors who need a little bit of help with the upcoming holiday season approaching. Consider “scouting through your pantry” for some donations!
