Gambling is fun! Gambling for great prize baskets from local merchants while eating and drinking with friends is even more fun. And doing these things while helping out local residents is the best yet.
On Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 6:30 PM, Project Home of Cranford will be hosting their annual “Ladies’ Night Out” at the Westwood at 438 North Ave. in Garwood. This popular event routinely attracts hundreds of area women looking for a fun, local night out with friends. Tickets are $45.00 each, and include a full sit-down meal, wine, and several door prizes. There will also be a basket raffle of goods and services donated by local merchants, offering local businesses the perfect opportunity to reach out to the community and advertise. Thanks to local donors, there will be more than 70 baskets up for raffle, averaging $100.00 in value, including such prizes as a barbecue basket, golf lessons, tickets to the Bronx zoo, cut and color by a local salon, a consultation with an interior designer, and much, much more. There will also be 50/50 and other prizes.
For 25 years, Project Home of Cranford has been working through Cranford Family Care to keep Cranford families in their homes, despite misfortune or catastrophic circumstances, so that they can remain in and a part of the community. If you would like to participate in this worthwhile event, inquire about the tickets for Ladies’ Night Out, or just find out more about Project Home and their mission, visit www.cranfordprojecthome.org, or their FaceBook Page Project Home of Cranford. So why not grab some friends, leave the kids with the men, and have some food, some drinks, and some laughs? And who knows? Maybe you’ll walk away with some cool prizes . . . . and the knowledge that you are helping out some local neighbors who need it.
