Wake up, trip over shoes on the way to the bathroom, sort through the drawer for the make-up you need, dig through the piles of clothes (Dirty? Clean? Who knows?) for something to wear. Not that it matters, because you can’t find your keys, and your cell phone is lost in the clutter on the counter, so you’re going to be late for work, anyway.
Does this sound even a LITTLE bit familiar? Or maybe you live WITH the culprit who gives this scenario meaning in your home? Disorganization can be exhausting to live with, and can cost you in so many ways. But becoming organized can seem a daunting task.
What if you knew that you didn’t have to change drastically overnight? When you eat a meal, you don’t swallow it whole. You take it bite by bite. Organization can be done the same way. With baby steps.
The Friends of the Cranford Public Library are pleased to sponsor “5 Minute Organizing Ideas for a Fresh Start.” This presentation will be delivered on Wednesday, June 18th, at the Cranford Public Library, by organizing expert and bestselling author Jamie Novak. Jamie will provide organizing tips and tricks that will help you to tackle your organization hurdles in small bites, instructing you how to purge piles of paper, clean closets, and streamline your life. The best part is, each of the ideas that Jamie will present can be done in five minute increments. ANY of us can handle five minute changes!
Jamie is the creator of Bite Size Living, a site where she teaches the recipe for an easier life by breaking up big tasks into smaller and more easily handled ones.
