Honoring our fallen heroes will be evident throughout Union County throughout this Memorial Day weekend.
This Sunday, May 27th, at the Fanwood Railroad Station S. Martine Street between North and South avenues (in Fanwood, NJ), is the place to be to celebrate Memorial Day in Union County.
Beginning at 7pm and running for an hour and a half, this free Memorial Day event will allow us to honor our fallen heroes, their families and all of the veterans here in Union County and around the entire country.
This very special event for all Union County communities to enjoy is being made possible by the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Memorial Day Parade Committee. The Westfield Community Band will perform selections of patriotic music in a “Tribute to Fallen Heroes Concert” that will take place on the north side of the Fanwood railroad station.
