Cold winter days are the perfect time for warm, homemade bread. But who has time to bake with all of that shoveling and salt spreading?
No need! Here’s a chance to enjoy some delicious homemade bread AND do a good deed for others.
On Sunday, January 26th, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, at Trinity Episcopal Church at 119 Forest Avenue in Cranford, you can purchase some delicious loaves of homemade bread, which are being sold to raise money for the Aids Resource Foundation’s St. Clare’s Homes for Children. The St. Clare’s Homes for Children give abandoned HIV positive babies a loving home away from at-risk living situations and have helped 1,700 children since 1987. They provide these in-need children with medical, nutritional, developmental and social support at a critical period in their lives. For more information on St. Clare’s, check out the website at http://aidsresource.org/st-clares-homes-for-children/
The Loaves of Love cost $3.00 each, and all proceeds will go to this wonderful cause. It’s the “yeast” you can do! (See what I did there?!)
