What inspired Glimmer Studio?

I come from a background in creative direction and brand storytelling, with over 15 years of experience in retail, marketing, and experiential campaigns. After becoming a mom to two amazing girls, Willow Grace (5) and Tallulah Bloom (1), I felt inspired to create something that blended my love of creativity and community—while offering magic-filled moments for both children and adults. Glimmer Studio was born from a desire to make everyday life feel a little more whimsical, connected, and meaningful. A place that creates the feeling of joy!

Why the name “Glimmer Studio”?

To me, “glimmer” represents that spark of joy, creativity, or connection you feel when you’re fully present in a beautiful experience. Whether it’s a child’s wide-eyed wonder during a story time or an adult finding connection at a thoughtfully curated social event, we aim to create those Glimmer moments for everyone who joins us.

What kinds of pop-up events do you offer?

Glimmer Studio is offering a mix of themed pop-up experiences designed to spark imagination and connection. For children, that might mean interactive story-based experiences, hands-on art-making, or playful seasonal celebrations like our recent DinoRama. For adults, we offer elevated social gatherings—think cocktail-style craft nights, mindful art experiences, dueling piano dates, or community-focused mixers. Our events are hosted at beautiful local venues like Venue 104, with more locations and collaborations to come!

What can people expect at an event?

You might arrive at a beautifully styled space filled with curated sensory details—aromas, music, textures, and colors that bring the theme to life. Kids could begin with an interactive story or creative activity. Adults might enjoy a hand-crafted beverage or sweet treat while mingling and soaking in the atmosphere. Every element—from check-in to parting gift—is designed with care to create a full-sensory experience.

Do you host events just for adults?

Absolutely. From dueling piano or karaoke nights to intentional gatherings focused on creativity and community, our adult events are thoughtfully curated to offer a break from routine and a chance to reconnect—with yourself and others. As a mom myself, I know how rare those moments can be, and how vital they are. Including adults was always part of the vision—it’s Glimmer for grownups, too.

What about babies and toddlers?

We know the early years are such a special (and often overlooked) stage. We’re offering baby and toddler-friendly pop-ups that feature gentle sensory soft play, music and movement, and calm, welcoming environments for bonding time. We also design events with flexible flow, so little ones can explore at their own pace.

Why launch Glimmer Studio in Cranford?

Cranford born and raised; my love of the town comes through every time I talk about Living in Cranford! There’s a strong sense of community, creativity, and support for small businesses that made it the perfect place to bring this dream to life. The way local families show up for one another, support new ventures, and celebrate each other’s wins is something really special. There’s a genuine warmth and neighborly spirit that is the core of the community.

How do you hope Glimmer Studio will impact the community?

We hope to become a beloved part of family memories and milestones—offering both big “wow” moments and small, meaningful ones. Whether it’s a child’s first art show, a new mom’s first outing, or a beautiful moment shared between friends, we want Glimmer to be a place where joy and creativity come to life.
