It’s that time of year again! Autumn air brings with it the notion of walking through colorful foliage trails, pumpkin and apple picking, and antiquing. No time or money to spend a weekend at a Bed and Breakfast to do so? No worries – aside from the fact that Cranford is beautiful in the Fall, you can even do your antiquing without ever leaving town!
On Saturday, Sept. 21st, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, at the Cranford Methodist Church (CUMC) at 210 Lincoln Avenue East, you can enjoy the twice-yearly outdoor antique show and sale, which is actually in the parking lot in between the church and the library. It can be such fun to sort through treasures of the past, each unique and with its own story, among dealers selling fine antique and vintage items under tents and on tables. Perusers and collectors can expect to find period furniture, fine and decorative art, porcelain, pottery, period ceramics, silver, linens, textiles, books, musical instruments, toys and dolls, postcards, tools and antique advertising, as well as Tobacciana, clocks, metalware, holiday collectibles and historical items. And jewelry . . . lots and lots of jewelry! Some of it quite reasonable . . . and what fun to wear a pin or pair of earrings with a history!
Admission is free, and so is parking. The event is being produced by EstateSalesByOlga Are you interested in being a seller?
