It’s BAAAAA-ACK!

For those of you who tink that the combination of good friends, laughs, food, drinks, and GAMBLING makes for the perfect evening, you’ll be very happy to know that it is once again time for the Hillside Avenue School Tricky Tray!

The now ENORMOUS event will take place on Saturday, March 1, in the HAS gym.  Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the auction begins at 7:00 PM.  Among the prizes are a snowblower, (very timely) iPad mini, Coach handbags, theater tickets, Pole Position racing, lottery tickets, electronics, Medieval Times tickets, Yankee/Mets/Rangers tickets, waterparks, restaurants, hair/nail salons, dinner with GinaMarie from Big Brother, haircut from Penny of Real Housewives of NJ, a huge number of gift certificates and offers from local businesses, and much more.  You can check out www.haspta.digitalpto.com starting February 26 for a copy of the program that lists all the gifts to be auctioned off.

This event is extremely popular, and there haven’t been any tickets LEFT to sell at the door the last few years.  So get your spot early!  And to make the calling of the auction easier and more expeditious this year, they are trying out a new method.  Instead of receiving strips of tickets, you will receive one card of 26 tickets with one number at each table you purchase tickets (white, red, and blue). The white table will include gifts up to $50 and the tickets will cost $10/sheet. The red table will include gifts up to $150 and the tickets will cost $15/sheet. The blue table will include gifts up to $350 and the tickets will cost $20/sheet. The green table will be gifts from $350 and up and tickets will cost 1 for $8 and 3 for $15.  So if you have stayed away in previous years because of the length of time it took to call out the hundreds of numbers and check all of those tickets, this might be the year for you!

We will offer reserve seating again this year. Note on the form below which group you want to be seated with. Send in your group seating requests together with a contact person noted.  Once again this year, they will be offering the pre-order “Good-Buy” ticket bags, which include a variety of white, red, blue, and green tickets worth $70. The cost to you is only $55, and if you buy 2 bags, it is $100, a $40 savings!!  These are NOT, however, available for purchase at the door, so order them with your entrance ticket!

This auction is the biggest fundraiser for the HAS PTA and it is SO much fun!  Get a table with a bunch of friends, and bring the food and non-alcoholic drinks of your choice – make a party out of it!  It’s always good for laughs and fun!  And you might walk away with a treat!
