“Hoops There It Is” Fundraiser Foul Shooting Contest
First of all, is this not the best name EVER for a basketball clinic?! “Hoops – There It Is!”
Hoops, under the direction of founder Coach John McGuire, offers basketball clinics, teams, and summer camps for children of the Cranford community. John, a Cranford resident, has been a coach and educator for the past thirteen years, most recently at Roosevelt School in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He started Hoops as a camp program in 2007, and the program has grown and expanded by leaps and bounds! The program now runs year round, and services kids from Pre-school to middle school. (Visit their website at http://www.hoopsthereitis.net/ )

Children can take 20 shots for $10.00, and will receive ten automatic raffle tickets PLUS one extra ticket for each basket made. (A smaller basket will be available for younger children.)
Monies raised from this contest will help fund the Hoops There It Is Knights travel program. And by the way, these good looking kids will be wearing uniforms that I sponsored! In addition, a portion will be donated to the victims of Hurricane Sandy Red Cross Relief. Donated items for storm victims will also be collected and appreciated at the contest site, and will be delivered to the collection head quarters.
So why not come out and “take a shot” at a prize? At least “bounce” the idea around a little bit. You could “net” yourself a great prize while helping a great cause. OK, I’m sorry. I’ll stop the “foul” jokes now. Really. Sorry. 😉
