I don’t know about you, but I haven’t even picked up my Thanksgiving turkey yet . . . . much less defrosted it. In fact, I’ve still got a rotting jack-o-lantern sitting on my porch. So, as difficult as this may be to believe and to swallow . . . . its time for Christmas in downtown Cranford!
The Cranford Chamber of Commerce will begin the 2013 Holiday Season on Friday, Nov. 29th with the decorating and lighting of the town’s Holiday Tree. The day’s events scheduled are as follows:
9:00 AM-11:00AM – Daisies, Brownies, and Girl Scouts to decorate the town tree
1:00 PM – Petting Zoo and Moon Walk
5:00 PM – Singing, and Cindy Smith Dancers to perform
6:00 PM – Santa will arrive on Fire Truck to light the town tree. This will be followed by pictures with Santa in the gazebo.
Hot Chocolate will be provided by the always fabulous Cranford Jaycees!
It’s the annual Cranford kick-off to the Christmas season! So bundle up the kiddies, muster up that holiday spirit, and start the season out right! Head over to the GAZEBO, it should be “TREE-mendous” fun for everyone!! For more information regarding the scheduled events, please call the Cranford Chamber of Commerce at 908-272-6114.
