The Cranford Jaycees will be hosting some FUN events….. Check it out!
Cranford Jaycees Annual Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, March 28th, join the fun behind Orange Avenue School, at 901 Orange Avenue in Cranford, and see how many eggs your little ones can find! The hut begins at 10:00 AM SHARP, so be sure to get there a few minutes early.
And, of course, the Easter Bunny will be there to help things along! So be sure to bring your camera! The event is open to all Cranford children from ages 0 – 9. It is one of those iconic memories that your child will hold and cherish, and tell their own kids about one day.
And, thanks to the Cranford Jaycees, the event is free. In lieu of an admission price, the Jaycees are instead asking for donations for Cranford Family Care. They are looking for NON-perishable food items. Some items in particular that they are looking for are coffee, tea, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, canned meats, canned milk, snacks, breakfast items, juice boxes, snacks for kids, and anything else you think families might use or need on a daily basis.
Bring the kids out, have some fun, make some memories, and help out some local families that will be grateful for it. Don’t you just love win-win situations?
Cranford Jaycees Pancake Breakfast
On Sunday, March 29th, the Cranford Jaycees will be holding their annual Pancake Breakfast at the Cranford VFW, located at 479 South Avenue, right next to the TD Bank. The breakfast will run between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. All proceeds from this breakfast will go towards funding the Cranford First Aid Squad, a dedicated group of volunteers who work so diligently to keep our community safe and healthy.
The cost per person is $5.00 per child, $7.00 per adult, or $20.00 for an entire family. This buys you a full homemade breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, and juice. Not only is it a break from having to make breakfast at home, but it’s a great time to socialize with neighbors.
Need another reason to go? How about a visit from the Easter Bunny? He’ll be there to enjoy breakfast with his favorite Cranford friends! He is a big fan of the Cranford First Aid Squad. They are who he calls when he pulls his back muscles rom carrying all of those baskets of eggs. He will be delighted to visit with you and take some pictures while you ejoy your breakfast. So stop by for some breakfast and some bunny time!
