CHS Spring Musical
It’s been a heck of a winter. Brutal, at best. And if you’re getting tired of those cold winter days, maybe you need a dose of some “Summer Nights.”
Cranford High School’s Spring Musical production of “Grease” will take the stage on Friday, Feb. 28th and Saturday, March 1st at 8:00 PM, and Sunday, March 2nd at 2:00 PM. Tickets are available from chs.booktix.com. There are two seating options offered, with reserved seats at $15, and general admission seats at $10. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour before the curtain. Cranford HS is located at 201 West End Pl.
Grease is an all-American favorite, with catchy music and fun dancing. It appeals to all ages, and always offers a fun time. Who doesn’t love to “Shake, Rattle, and Roll?”
Directed and choreographed by Michelle Massa, this show is produced by Lynn Berry, and the music is directed by Anthony Rafaniello. Student stage managers include Evan Perrotta, Erica Chiari, Susanna Jaramillo and Maria Schwartz., and technical student leaders include Noah Lee, Katie Wakeman and Evan Perrotta. Cranford High School continues to be a proud participant of the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star program. The Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards encourage and reward exceptional accomplishments in the production of high school musical theatre. The Rising Star Awards is a statewide competition of New Jersey high school musicals modeled after Broadway’s Tony Awards.
The cast of ‘Grease” includes Geddy Warner as Danny, Talia Gonzales as Sandy, Garrett Forrestal as Kenickie, Emma Schwartz as Rizzo, Tyler Beresford as Doody, Lauren Costa as Marty, Dylan Randazzo as Roger, Veronica Walton as Jan, Brian Rubin as Sunny, Gabbi Siani as Frenchy, Tom Stoke as Vince Fontane, Deirdre Koczur as Miss Lynch, Emily Norwine as Patty, Tyler McMahon as Eugene, Noah Belmont as Teen Angel, and Kelsey Kilpatrick as Cha Cha. Members of the ensemble include, Katie Morreale, Sabrino Brito, Jordan Burd, Lucy Esposito, Mikayla Herz, Cristina Marcotrigiano, Gabi Meadows, Julia Nicholas, Natalie Pastroff, Carly Van Houten, Tim Dooley, Andrew Guarisco, Derek Keller, Devin Kenney, Bart Lahiff, Alek LoGuidice, James Lynch, Mike Maloof, Shelden Mendes, Brenden Scalea, Todd Sweeney and John Wylie.
So if you’re looking for a taste of Broadway, but closer to home, this may be just “The One That You Want!”
