CHAPS Pasta Dinner Fundraiser
If you’re not currently familiar with CHAPS, (no, not the 1980’s cologne), prepare to be impressed. CHAPS (Cranford High School Assistance Program) is actually a volunteer organization run completely by Cranford High School Students to help people in Cranford. That’s right – teenagers willingly helping out their community. In addition to helping those in need, it also offers the students an opportunity to learn about their importance to their community and to offer their services while doing so. This group provides many services including snow shoveling, babysitting, and many more. Anyone interested in assistance, or with any ideas for service projects, can contact them at Chapsnj@gmail.com
On Friday, April 25th, from 5:00 – 9:00 PM in the high school cafeteria (201 West End Place in Cranford), CHAPS is hosting a” Pasta Night” dinner to benefit a local child who is fighting cancer. The event will be held at the Cranford High School Cafeteria, but pick up is also available. Come join them for a spaghetti dinner to help them raise money for this honorable cause. The cost is $10.00for adults, and $5.00 for children. The rewards, on ALL sides, are immeasurable.
