Welcome to middle age. Your hormones are playing with your body temperature like a little kid playing with the buttons on a thermostat. Life is throwing proverbial balls at you from so many directions it’s like you’re the only person left “in” on a dodgeball team. And your middle has grown seemingly faster than your wisdom with age. Is this normal? And how do you handle it?
On Wednesday, April 17th, from 12:30-1:30 PM, Dr. Jason Kaufman will present “Belly Fat, Stress, and Hormones” at a “Lunch And Learn” hour at The Westfield Area Y, in the main facility at 220 Clark Street in Westfield. A light lunch is included. (Well, of COURSE it’s a light lunch. Not much sense in learning about controlling belly fat while eating a bacon cheeseburger, is there?) This event is open to both members and non-members for a small fee. Interested participants must register at the Welcome Center of the Main Y facility. Please call Lynne Applebaum with any questions at (908) 233-2700 x239, or email lapplebaum@westfieldynj.org.
Be sure to bring your stress, hormones, and belly fat with you. You wouldn’t want to “stick out!” Besides . . . . you’ve earned them!
