There has been a significant transformation at one of downtown Cranford’s businesses. You might notice that the store that used to be known as Belladonna’s Yarn Room & Interiors no longer boasts yarn. Well, that’s not entirely true. Donna DelGuercio, the owner, still carries an unbelievable assortment of some of the most beautiful yarns imaginable, and still offers private lessons in knitting and crocheting (a really super and unique holiday gift to give the crafty person in your life, by the way). But recently, Donna decided to expand the business to include her next greatest love – fashion. Since she has a background in clothing design, it seemed a natural addition to the store, now known as Belladonna’s , still located at 106 North Union Avenue.
The store now houses some awesome and truly funky clothing, jewelry, handbags, and accessories, mostly from Italy and the good old USA. The stock is constantly changing, and not mass produced, cookie-cutter items, so there are always new and exciting things to shop for, and it’s almost always things you wouldn’t find anywhere else around. Jewelry lines include Sweet Romance, Clara Beau, Jan Michaels, and We Dream in Color, clothing lines include Scandal, Saga, Gracia, and Fate, and there are Samoe and Whiting & Davis handbags. There are items for both younger and more mature fashionistas., with constantly new stock that Donna routinely finds at accessory shows or by walking around the Garment District. It’s the perfect place to go for those women who want to stand out and be fashionable without looking like every other person walking around town.
The store will be open seven days a week through Christmas, so it’s the perfect spot to do your holiday shopping and find some beautiful, unique items for the women and girls on your gift list.

Belladonna’s….. It’s not just yarn any more.
