Kim Capece and Clara Nunziato friends for many years recently decided 
to open Augusta Mae Boutique http://www.augustamae.com/ and Fine Consignment at 35 Alden Street in downtown Cranford, NJ.   Sharing a passion for finding great and unique 
finds themselves, the two decided to open up a store front in town 
allowing others in the community the opportunity to make some extra 
income by selling some of their fashionable clothing items they no 
longer wear.  I stopped in to visit these energetic ladies to learn more about their shop. They have so much to offer!!

“The community has definitely embraced the vision we had 
for the store.  Women and young adults have been coming in daily to 
see what was recently consigned.”  We’ve had some great brands 
available such as Tory Burch, Stuart Weitzman, Coach, BCBG, Kate 
Spade, Lilly, and many other labels that are now more affordable to 
those seeking that “one of a kind” item. “  For our teens/young adults 
we have some great Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Tart and Free 
People for sale all at much lower prices than what they would pay 
walking into the mall.  We already have many repeat customers!  Some 
of our dresses have been purchased to attend weddings, sweet sixteens, 
and graduations.  Word of mouth has definitely been helpful getting 
the message out about the boutique and what is available for sale.  
We’ve had customers from neighboring towns such as Westfield, Scoth 
Plains, Kenilworth Clark, Linden and Union.  We thank all that have supported us so far!”
