A Taste of Cranford – Third Annual Event – March 11, 2012
The third annual Taste of Cranford will be held March 11, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Cranford Community Center. The center is located at 220 Walnut Avenue in Cranford. Hosted by the United Way of Greater Union County and The Cranford Community Council, the event will include main dishes, desserts and fine wines from Cranford’s local restaurants. Taste of Cranford proceeds are donated to the United Way of Greater Union County’s Cranford Community Center’s Special Response Fund. The fund serves emergency family needs.
The Taste of Cranford proceeds for this year’s event will go to the Cranford Family Care for the support given the community after Hurricane Irene. Cranford Family Care was a major support group for residents of Cranford after Hurricane Irene flooded the area.
Tickets may be purchased in advance for $35 and will be available at the door for $40. The
advance tickets are available at Cranford Family Care, 61 Myrtle Street; Cheese Please, 26
Eastman Street; Periwinkles, 17 North Union Avenue and the Cranford Public Library, 224
Walnut Avenue. They may also be purchased online by visiting www.brownpapertickets.com/event/216335.
A V.I.P. event will begin at 4 p.m. at Pairings Restaurant, 1 South Avenue, East. The tickets for this event are $50 in advance and $55 at the door. Limited seating is available and the proceeds from the V.I.P. event will benefit the United Way of Greater Union County’s Special Response Fund with Cranford Family Care as the designee as well.
