The Farmhouse Store
It seems bizarre to say that downtown Westfield, being the bustling urban shopping mecca that it is, would be the place to go to find some of the best country collectible items. But if you’re looking for that one-of-a-kind piece of décor to finish off your home, or for the gift that you know that NO ONE else will get for someone, this is the place to go. The items are creative, individual, and unique. Just walking through the store is an escape into tranquility! This store is so fantastic, that it will be seen in HGTV’s show “Dina’s Party” on September 23 at 5pm! http://www.hgtv.com/dinas-party/show/index.html
The Farmhouse Store carries items including wood furniture, pottery, bird houses, textiles and more. Many of the wood pieces sold in this very large store are made from 100- to 200-year-old wood from old barns and mills, or from other salvaged vintage country pieces. How great is that? You can truly find the perfect “conversation piece.”
Owners Ed Menapace and Bill Curtis have also had the privilege of meeting with Martha Stewart, who’s show they credit, in part, as one of the inspirations for opening the Farmhouse Store five years ago as a craft gallery, and with HGTV star Genevieve Gorder. To find that special something that is unlike any other, visit their website and look at some of the items at http://thefarmhousestore.com , or, better yet, check it out in person at 221 E Broad St in Westfield
