Looking for something fun and different to do? Then maybe you should Just Bead Yourself! This unique shop carries an enormous selection of beads in various colors, shapes and sizes for you to create your own unique jewelry design. All of the beads, tools and supplies are arranged in a fabulous visual display throughout the shop, and there are tables and chairs set up right in the middle of it all where you can work on your creation. Staff is on hand to help along every step of the way.
Just Bead Yourself also offers a separate room for parties. A beading party – what fun! It specializes in children’s functions such as birthday parties, Mommy and Me parties, Afternoon Tea Party with my Doll and Me, and more. Adult costume jewelry making classes are also available. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. What a fun “ladies day out” that would be with friends! And you get to walk out wearing what you make . . . . a totally unique piece!
And during the summer, Just Bead Yourself is offering a range of weekly morning and afternoon camps for ages 7 – 17. A relaxing, fun, creative, air conditioned activity for the kids! There is a morning session from 9:30 – 12:00, an afternoon session from 1:30 – 4:00, and full day sessions, as well. Camps include Introduction to Jewelry Creation (ages 7-17) where campers will be learning basic beading techniques, crimping, wire wrapping and elements of jewelry design. Students will create beautiful necklaces, bracelets and earrings; Wire Jewelry Creations (ages 7 -17) where campers create beautiful jewelry sculpted from wire, using wire wrapping stones, sea glass and bending, twisting and hammering copper wire and colored wire into jewelry components; and Eco-Chic Jewelry (ages 8 – 17), in which campers create jewelry from natural and up-cycled materials such as newspaper comics, chip bags, soda tabs, glass, leather, aluminum and gemstone materials.)
