Yes, for fans of truly GOOD soft pretzels, this really IS exciting news!  The Philly Pretzel Factory, located in the strip mall at 295 South Avenue East in Westfield, is back in business! With all of their starchy, yeasty, salty goodness!

Local pretzel people were disheartened in late June, when they arrived to find the doors locked.  But owner Rick Hendon has reopened the doors, and they are back to making the twisted treats!

It’s a good thing, too.  Their pretzels are a favorite of locals who are looking for the perfect snack for their kids’ sports team, class or camp group, a birthday party, or even to munch on at the pool.  The pretzels themselves, baked fresh daily,  come in several flavors, and there are a number of fantastic dipping sauces to choose from.  (Hot pretzel in chocolate dipping sauce?  HEAVEN!) The pretzels are healthier than chips, more filling than ice pops, and deeeeeeelicious!  They are pretzel-perfect!

If you’re looking for a perfect summer snack, stop by and grab a soft pretzel and a frozen lemonade to wash it down.  You’ll undoubtedly become a “pretzel person” too.
