The cold weather is here, and the boots have come out!  Do they look a little more weather and time beaten than you remember from last year?  Don’t ditch them just yet!  They may be able to be restored to new life.

Jerry’s Shoe Repair, at 17 Alden Street in downtown Cranford, has been in business for years, and is well-established and well-respected by the community.  Jerry offers services that include repairing and replacing laces, cleaning, heel repair, stitching and fixing tears.  It’s so much cheaper to have a new sole put on a pair of shoes, or repair a tear in them, than it is to buy a new pair!  And it is especially worth it when it happens to be a favorite, broken-in pair of shoes or boots.

And Jerry’s expertise is not limited to shoes.  When you walk into his shop, you can see a huge array of handbags, purses, and leather totes that he works on, as well.  Not sure if your item is worth the cost of fixing.  No worries.  Jerry is an honest guy.  He’ll examine whatever you bring in, tell you what would need to be done, what the cost would be, and if it would be worth it for you.  He’s an honest businessman, and a town gem!
