What Inspired You to Open a Kids’ Consignment Store in Cranford NJ?

After graduating from Fordham, I worked at Walgreens, where I’d been since I was 16. I enjoyed retail—especially merchandising and customer interaction—but not the long hours, weekends, and holidays.

Later, I earned an Interior Design degree from FIT NYC and realized that field wasn’t for me. Milk Money gave me the chance to return to what I loved—retail—with a better work-life balance.

From day one, the shop built a loyal customer base that just keeps growing. Many shoppers who were hesitant about secondhand are now my most enthusiastic regulars.

Milk Money is partnering with the Cranford Clergy Council to host a clothing drive benefiting Moms Helping Moms, a New Jersey nonprofit supporting families in need with essential items for young children.

Shoppers are encouraged to purchase and donate clothing in sizes 12 months to 5T. Donations will be collected at the store and picked up by the Clergy Council.
