Cranford NJ is a town with many facets

One of the things I love most about our town is its contrast. Cranford is the perfect blend of urban and suburban; it has a modern pulse while remaining a visually vintage and picturesque hometown! Capturing those contrasts well is fellow Cranford resident and artist Julie Castillo. Julie is a California native who has made Cranford her home for 16 years.

With a background in commercial illustration, she has done work for many well-known companies. She has participated in Cranford’s Plein Air, Paint the Town events, solo and group shows in galleries and museums in New York, New Jersey, and California. As an artist, Julie works in many mediums, including painting and sculpture. She is available for commissions and portraits, as well as drawing and watercolor/egg tempera painting classes. “Small Pieces of Art” greeting cards, original art & prints are also available for purchase.
