2^nd Anniversary Celebration For Green Sports NJ

It was two years ago on St. Patrick’s Day that Green Sports NJ first opened its doors at 100 North Union Avenue in the heart of downtown Cranford, and this calls for a celebration!

On Saturday, March 16^th, they are offering 25% off of EVERYTHING in the store!  Light refreshments will be offered to customers, and an auction will be held to benefit the Green Sports training program.  Items up for auction include Mets tickets, a NY Jets Darelle Revis poster, and a NY Giants Superbowl poster.

Green Sports NJ sells both new and used sports equipment, all of which is acquired through donation.   What makes this business so special is that individuals with disabilities are employed in all aspects of this small business.  By shopping here, then, customers help support The Arc, help the environment by reusing like-new sports equipment, and get  fantastic deals on their purchases.  And don’t be thrown by the “used” part of this equipment . . . . everything is in great shape and most items are like-new, but at much lower prices than a huge sports store.    Visitors are always welcome to peruse and shop, and are encouraged to donate outgrown or unneeded sports equipment for a fabulous cause.
