Cranford Township NJ
Cranford Township N.J.Cranford was established around the Rahway river in 1720. It currently has around 8400 households. In 1838 the Elizabethtown and Somerville railroad established Cranford as a commuter suburb to New York City. The township was officially incorporated in 1871.

With a cast iron water turbine that is still in place, the Williams Droescher Mill located on Lincoln Avenue is the oldest continually operated commercial building in N.J.

Westfield NJ
Westfield N.J. Originally formed as a township in 1794 Westfield is a town of around 30,000 residents. The downtown area is known as a regional destination with over 200 retail establishments including 40 restaurants. The Downtown Westfield Corporation manages a special improvement district that through its management agency handles urban design, special events and more. Through distinct south and north sides of town, there are around 9 neighborhoods.

Garwood NJ
Garwood N.J.Garwood NJ is a borough with around 4200 residents. It came about as sort of a secession from it’s neighbors Cranford and Westfield. Garwood gained official autonomy in 1903.

Fanwood NJ

Fanwood NJFanwood is a borough incorporated in 1895. There are around 2600 households. The Fanwood Museum resides in the oldest remaining railroad station in Union County. The downtown area is undergoing a redevelopment project that recently held a groundbreaking for a new 4 story, mixed-use project designed to compliment the Victorian design of buildings and homes throughout the area.

Scotch Plains NJ
Scotch Plains NJScotch Plains is a township that dates back as far as 1684 when it was settled by Scottish Quakers. It is home to the nation’s first African American Country Club, Shady Rest, now a municipal course called Scotch Hills. The 2010 census reflects about 6300 households.

Clark Township
Scotch Plains NJThe history of Clark takes it from the Indian hunting grounds of the Lenape tribe, to the American Revolution and beyond. The township is named after a politician, Revoltionary War figure and signer of the Declaration of Independence, Abraham Clark. Clark was officially incorporated in 1858 and at last census count had almost 15,000 residents.
